MagMed Ltd, trading as MIP Colostrum, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be shared and the choices available to you when using our website.

Information We Collect
Depending on how you use our website, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, telephone number and billing or delivery address.
- Account details, order history, reward activity and communications with us.
- Information you provide when contacting us, completing a form or subscribing to emails.
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type and website activity. Optional analytics and advertising information is collected according to your cookie choices.
We only collect information that is reasonably required to provide our services, manage your account, process orders, communicate with you and operate our website.
Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link may also be available through the relevant payment provider.
MIP Colostrum does not receive or store your full card number, card security code or digital-wallet credentials. These details are handled directly by the payment provider.
We may receive limited transaction information needed to confirm and manage your payment, such as the payment status, transaction reference, payment method, card brand or last four digits of the card. This information may also be used to process refunds, provide customer support and maintain transaction records.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Understand and improve website use, and measure advertising where you have accepted the relevant cookies.
- Process, deliver and manage orders.
- Operate customer accounts and the MIP Rewards programme.
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- Send emails where you have subscribed or otherwise agreed to receive them.
- Detect fraud, maintain website security and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell or rent customer information for marketing. We share information only where reasonably needed with providers that help us run our business, including website and IT services, Stripe and PayPal, email services such as Mailchimp, Google and Meta, fulfilment partners, carriers, customs authorities, professional advisers and public authorities where required by law.
Some providers process information outside New Zealand. Where New Zealand privacy law applies, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy safeguards.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They do not give MIP Colostrum access to your computer. Some cookies recognise a browser or device and record how the website is used; they do not by themselves tell us your name. If you sign in or place an order, some activity may be connected with your account or transaction.
Essential cookies support functions such as security, the shopping cart, checkout and customer accounts. With your choice, we may also use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking or remarketing, and the Meta/Facebook Pixel to understand visits and measure advertising.
When the cookie banner is shown, you can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies or adjust the settings. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser, although some store functions may then work less effectively.
Email Choices
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in the email. We may still send messages needed for an order, account, security matter or Rewards statement.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure. We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal and business requirements, then delete or anonymise it where appropriate.
Access, Correction and Complaints
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or request a correction. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you have a privacy concern, please contact our Privacy Officer first so we can try to resolve it. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Other Websites and Policy Changes
Our website may link to other websites that have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date.
