Blueberry and Chia Seed Smoothie
Makes 1 large smoothie – ready in less than 5 minutes.
Blueberries are high in vitamin C, B-6, A, E and K. They also provide iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, manganese, zinc, copper, folate, beta-carotene, folate and choline. With the added Kefir, this smoothie is a great source of probiotics, which are extremely important for digestive health. The chia seed is nutrient-dense and packs a punch of energy-boosting power. It’s high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fibre.
1/2 cup Frozen Wild Blueberries
1/2 cup Coconut Water
1/2 cup Milk (or a nut-based milk of choice)
1/2 cup Plain Kefir
1 tsp. Chia Seeds
1 tsp. MIP Colostrum Powder
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
